Seventh planet from the Sun.
Most planets spin like tops, but not Uranus! Instead, it rolls on its side like a ball. Uranus is an “ice giant” with a small rocky core blanketed by water, ammonia, and methane (which gives Uranus its teal color). Uranus’s day lasts 17 Earth hours, while its year lasts 84 Earth years.
Did you know: Uranus has the most extreme seasons in the Solar System, with day or night lasting about 20 Earth years at its poles.
