Haumea is known for its quick rotation — it spins so fast (about every 4 hours) that it's stretched into an egg-like shape. It’s made of rock and a thin icy surface, and has two known moons. Like Pluto, Haumea’s orbit takes it well beyond Neptune and lasts 284 Earth years.
